Need to drive a couple of website developments. Already have basic theme, 3rd party site integration experience, however, need to deal with shop cart this time. Need to leverage the Indian team more this time.

We now use more and more WhatsApp and Viber to communicate with colleagues, partners and customers in the other countries. Honestly, I use less Skype Out now to call overseas.

Have been working with both my UK and China colleagues on this UK deal. There are much we do not know at this moment, but we are doing our very best to get the quote out to the client. Don’t have much feeling on whether we will get this or not. However, we sure get some insights on opportunities like this.

Power went down in the afternoon yesterday and the management office has been trying to fix the issue. Just got the confirmation from the colleague that we won’t have power until at least 5:00 this afternoon. Told the team not to go to work today. Home office for me then.

Not good, not good. Have a few shipments going out tomorrow and can’t afford to delay that. Calling the management office to find out when the power will be back up.

Have not been eating lunch during the workdays for the past few years. Got used to it already, would feel less comfortable if I eat.

Went to another shop of this small hot pot chain and saw the manager who was a small waitress at the other shop (the one I always go). She was a hard working individual when she was a waitress, and she is now the manager. Have seen many examples like this at GL Cafe. Most of GL managers have worked there for many years and they all started as trainees. I always believe this is one key element to build a strong company, people development. And that’s my most important task in Beijing.

Have a few headphone samples with me and I need to test them and share my comments. Three types of song I will use as the reference pieces, 1. pure lady vocal, 2. hip hop with heavy bass, 3. large scale symphony. Will be excited if we are going to introduce a headphone line.
