It is getting warm in the office, time to take the Vignette shirt back to wash.

Met the supplier at lunch with a few new faces from the same industry. The new faces are from Beijing, that’s why we had many common topics to discuss. Discussion went well with the supplier in the afternoon and I was pretty excited. Went back to the factory and checked on the products. I was thinking that I just needed to work on 30 of them and it would take around 30 mins. God, finally, with 5 other people help, we spent 5.5 hours to fix everything. As usual, I just skipped dinner, no water, no toilet break until I was done. When I sat down at the restaurant, it was 12:15a.m. Reminded me of the time I had in Dong Guan.

I have been telling my people, it is not possible to have zero issue in a single project, no matter it is a big or small project. The major objective is to minimize the problems and correct them in the shortest timeframe. And more important, we learn from those stupid mistakes and tell ourselves not to do them again the next time.

Will have a few meetings in the next few days with suppliers. It is time for trading Billy to go out and meet people.

We started at 12:30p.m., and finished at 11:00p.m. This must be the longest event we have run in this company. Started with the BBQ, and then the sing song competition. The guessing game was so fun, we must do that again in the future events. More BBQ and sing song through out the day. Will make this team stronger and stronger, this is not a goal, is a Must.

Don’t remember when was the last time I left the office before 8. If we dont have the internet problem, must be still sending emails or calling the european partner.

We are going to have our quarterly event in the afternoon tomorrow. BBQ, sing song, drinking games, will have a great fun.

Have been dealing with major HR issues in the past couple of weeks. A manager and a team leader inside the same team are leaving the company in April. Besides finding the replacements, need to make sure that everyone inside that team is feeling alright. With this change, I told the team that I will be involved even more on their day to day works.

I truly believe that it is important to invest in people, or I should say, invest in the right persons. It is not an easy job, but I must admit that it feels good when you see the real improvements. Bottom line, it is good to see people improving and they can leverage the skills not only at their works, but also in the lives.

It is a working Saturday, and yes, we need to work. Since I have a meeting in the afternoon and it is a bit far away from home, I will just work from home. Instead of breakfast, will go to GL for lunch. See whether I will see my buddies there.

Saw this inside McDonalds washroom. They have Must Do, and we are developing a new item called SAFE, of course, each letter represents a word.

While finishing my tea here, am thinking what I need to accomplish today, as @nielscn said, hope there are 5 Billy to work on the tasks.
