S.F.Express
Sent a package to my friend using S.F.Express and I just got the text from them saying the package was signed this morning at 9:48a.m. Have used other couriers and they always give us troubles. Yes, it costs more but I won’t think twice to use S.F.Express.
Quarterly company event
Instead of doing BBQ outside the office, we are going to have lunch buffet and then KTV afterward. Will see how they like it. Next quarterly event will be the yearly event as well. Will find a place where the whole team can spend a weekend.
Major project
Just had a meeting with the team and assigned a major project to them. I committed to them that I MUST deliver a good result. They will be alone executing the tasks next week. Will check with them remotely.
Organic plant
Saw this on the way back to the office yesterday. It just grows at the side of a small road.
2 hours Con-call
Just finished the weekly call with my UK counterpart. Besides reviewing the business status, we also brainstormed the other possible businesses we can do. It is very easy to come up with the ideas, but execution is the key. We sure will keep our eyes opened.
Deeper in the operation
With all the changes in the past few months, I now know a lot more about the BJ operation. There are both good and bad things. One thing for sure, all of us need to step up and do our jobs better.
Accessories for the show
With the team help, made a power extension cord for the show. I am now the delivery boy.
Too much
After the half day HR exercise, we had the monthly company event in the evening. As usual, I was the target and had too much beer. Told myself not to puke inside the cab on the way home. When I was at the garden downstairs, I really could not hold it no more. God, it was bad.
