Just helped my dad to backup his phone book from his cell to the computer. Still remember how stupid I was when I deleted his entire phone book the last time. He and I were talking about this last instance and we both laughed like crazy. He said, “don’t delete my phone book, please, I have even more phone numbers now!”
Those are the words I use all the team in the office, actually, I have that in mind in my daily life, too. Without those figured out in advance, it takes much longer to accomplish tasks. Besides, it is much easier to run into problems and mistakes. Will keep pushing my ideas across, it is tough at this early stage, but my life and everyone’s life will be much easier in the near future.
Will have a few meetings in the next few days with suppliers. It is time for trading Billy to go out and meet people.
Spent the whole afternoon on designing the poster, god, have not done that for a long time. Still need to define the basic requirements with the team. It will help a lot on the future projects.
Not able to join my high school buddies’ dinner. Instead, had dinner with my dad. Told him what happened last night and he shared his view on the whole thing. I enjoyed the time.
Usually order the similar thing at GL in Beijing, but the look and taste is just not the same.
Met DJ AL last night and had a quick chat with the boy and his team. Learned a few new things from the team and hope they will find a new place soon.
Besides enjoying myself last night, I was asking people how they think about the club. They did share similar comments which are my own comments as well. I sure pay attention to all those little stuffs as well, e.g. how easy to get paper napkins, do the waiters know the names of the cocktails, do the waiters and managers know the program details, how easy to walk into a ladies room, how easy to find a mirror in the restroom to reposition my cap, how easy to see the steps (I don’t want to fall down in front of tens of pretty girls), how easy to see the posters for the upcoming events, how fast the waiters can clean up the drinks spilled on the floor, etc, etc.
Will visit there again in the weekend and try to see more.
Left GAGA at around 2:00a.m. last night. Walked pass Q-Club and talked to a group of young people. They were telling me that they will have a birthday party on the 26th. I have this special birthday party package idea where the birthday boy or girl will sure love. Idea is simple, the point is whether the team can execute the tasks nicely.
Thats where I went before, Richy. Not for now no more, GAGA and Q-Club are the places.
