It is live on CNN now. TV screen is on and Obama is presenting, but I just cannot put down my headphone. Great music does drive people crazy.

My god….that’s the only thing I can say. MacBook already has a very good soundcard installed, but when I switched it to the iDAC, I just don’t want to switch it back. Slow tracks, hip hop, R&B, dance tracks, and all the Chinese songs I have learned in the past couple of months. God, don’t think I want to go bed at all.

This is the next piece I will try out. It is ABSOLUTELY better than the soundcard inside the computer, and I am confident that it is even better than many external DACs.

Ran some tests at the shop today, and the improvement can be heard. iUSBPower is a “must-have” piece for all Serato DJs. Next step is the Rane box major upgrade and that will bring even better sound. Look forward to that.

Did the A/B comparison using the CD-777 DAC, the difference is obvious, I would say about 30% better. Then did another test with the Serato soundcard and again, I can tell the improvement. Will tell everyone around me about this piece, and the Serato DJs should definitely have it.
